Careful work underneath, plain answers up front
I started out pouring walks, patios and steps for neighbors on weekends, and in 2021 the calls came steadily enough that concrete became my main work. I learned the trade one job at a time, and I still learn from people who've done it far longer than I have. Most of our calls come from homeowners in Holland and the cities around it, and some from small business owners.
We're best known for flatwork, the driveways, patios, walks and steps you use every day. I care most that the work underneath is right, because the packed base the slab sits on is the part nobody can see once the concrete is in. It's also the first place a tight budget gets cut, and I'd rather put your money there than into the finish.
I'd also rather tell you plainly what to expect from your new concrete than make a promise concrete can't keep. You can read more about our work on our home page, and if you have a question about your own job, please get in touch on our contact page.
A full range of concrete work
Concrete driveway building
A new driveway, dug out, packed and poured from scratch, for when the old one is cracked, sinking or leaving puddles by the garage.
Concrete patio construction
A plain or finished concrete patio off the back door, for when you want a flat, solid place to sit, grill or set a table.
Stamped concrete services
Concrete pressed with a pattern and colored to look like stone, brick or slate, for a patio or walk that needs more than plain gray.
Concrete sidewalk building
New or replacement walks to the front door, side yard or street, often called in when old slabs have heaved and become a trip hazard.
Garage floor concrete
A garage floor slab poured to carry a car's weight, for a new garage or an old floor that's cracked, chipped or sunk in spots.
Decorative concrete
Colored, scored or textured finishes that dress up plain concrete, for homeowners who want a patio, walk or entry to suit the house.
Concrete retaining walls
Poured concrete walls that hold back soil on a slope, usually called in when a yard is washing out or an old wall has started leaning.
Concrete floor installation
Interior concrete floors for basements, shops and additions, poured level over a prepared base when you need a hard, lasting surface indoors.
Concrete pool decks
The concrete surface around a pool, finished for grip under wet feet, whether you're putting in a new pool or replacing a worn deck.
Concrete steps construction
Front, back or side entry steps poured in place, for when the old ones are crumbling, pulling away from the house or feel unsafe underfoot.
Slab foundation building
A concrete slab that serves as the foundation for a garage, shed, addition or small building, poured over a packed, level base.
Foundation installation
Poured foundation walls and the footings under them for a new house, addition or garage, so the structure above sits square and solid.
Concrete parking lot building
Concrete parking areas for small businesses and larger properties, laid out for drainage and traffic, when old pavement keeps failing or a lot needs more room.
Concrete footings
The concrete pads and strips that carry the weight of a deck, porch, addition or wall, poured below the frost line before building starts.
Foundation raising
Lifting a settled slab or foundation back toward level, for homeowners seeing sinking floors, uneven walks or cracks that keep getting wider.
Concrete cutting
Clean saw cuts through slabs, walls and floors for openings, repairs or removals, when part of the concrete has to come out without breaking the rest.
